One of the first things I do when working with clients is send them a questionnaire to learn a little bit more about them before I attempt to capture their special moments. I thought it would only be fair if I introduced myself so you know who you are working with.

Jackie Frost - Photographer

While I have only been in business since 2021, I have always had photography in my life. I received my first film SLR (stands for single-reflex lens) camera in the late 1990s before we all carried digital cameras in our back pockets or bags. Throughout my life I took pictures casually when we traveled or if someone asked me to do portraits for them. . I turned more towards my photography after the pandemic hit in 2020 as an outlet during stressful times. My mom inspired me to finally take the plunge and be a professional photographer, I am so glad that I did. I love sharing my photos with the amazing people I have met along the way. The below pictures are some I have done since I started my business.

Hudson River Valley, New York, nature, landscape
Deer, Texas, nature
grape hyacinth, nature, flowers, purple
thousand islands, bridge, landscape, river, water

I still stay busy even when I am not working. Some of my hobbies include reading, especially American history books, mysteries and historical fiction; watching movies; cooking and baking; and working in my flower bed. I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and family. My husband and I have two adorable dogs – labs named Maggie and Winston.

At times I have a very simple sense of humor. I rarely don’t laugh at a dad joke or pun. I also really enjoy traveling. Some of my favorite places include Asheville, NC, Boston, MA, Denver and the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, and the Thousand Islands region of Upstate New York. I look forward to sharing future travels with you.

So that is a little bit about me. I look forward to getting to know you better along this wonderful journey.
